Во Дворце спорта готовят к открытию новую ледовую арену, ее презентуют одесситам уже в начале ноября.

Об этом в ходе пресс-конференции сообщила руководитель СДЮШОР «Льдинка» Наталья Тютюнник.

С момента закрытия ледовой арены во Дворце спорта прошло уже 20 лет. Работы по ее восстановлению велись с августа.

Арена соответствует международным стандартам — ее размеры 30 на 60 метров, а трибуны рассчитаны на 2 тысячи 800 зрителей.

Планируется, что в следующем году на этом ледовом стадионе пройдет Чемпионат Украины по фигурному катанию, а первые соревнования здесь состоятся уже 2-4 декабря — в Одессе пройдет Кубок Украины среди детей до 15-и лет.

6-го ноября, к сорокалетию «Льдинки», во Дворце спорта состоится большое ледовое шоу, в котором примут участие 150 человек, а в финальной сцене на лед выйдут около 500 воспитанников «Льдинки».

«Чтобы ребенок получил (звание — Ред.) мастера спорта по фигурному катанию, его нужно вывозить на большой лед, тренера туда вывозить. Вы не представляете, какие это траты. На нашем льду это невозможно сделать», — отметила Тютюнник, подчеркнув, что открытие новой арены решит эту проблему.
