29 и 30 октября с 11:00 до 20:00 в одесском парке Победы будет проходить фестиваль «Праздник тыквы».

Об этом в ходе пресс-конференции сообщила замдиректора департамента культуры и туризма Одесского горсовета Алена Дьяченко.

«Праздник приурочен к осеннему подведению итогов сбора нового урожая. Неоднократно в городе проходили фестивали, посвященные датам одесской осени, но только в этом году было решено провести «Праздник тыквы». Почему тыквы? Потому что ее можно ассоциировать с солнцем и благополучием», — сообщила Алена Дьяченко.

В рамках праздника предусмотрена концертная и конкурсная программы, дегустации, а также мастер-классы. Здесь же пройдет первый в Украине кулинарный конкурс по приготовлению пирога из тыквы, в котором примут участие как опытные шеф-повара, так и обычные одесситы. Участники предоставят свои пироги на суд жюри.

Также на фестивале состоится детский конкурс по созданию композиций из тыквы, в котором примут участие учащиеся школ Приморского района. Организаторы отмечают, что хотят сделать добрый семейный фестиваль.

Именно поэтому мы в таком контексте, а-ля славянский Хэллоуин, делаем «Праздник тыквы» — фестиваль добрых традиций. Мы хотим родить новую украинскую традицию. Не обязательно на тыкве вырезать злые рожицы, можно вырезать добрые, создавать казаков и казачек и многое другое», — заявил один из организаторов Дмитрий Яцкий.

Организаторы отмечают, что праздник состоится при любых погодных условиях. В эти дни в Одессе прогнозируется малооблачная погода с небольшим дождем.
