4 октября, в Международный день защиты животных, благотворительное учреждение «Приют для защиты и помощи бездомным животным» получило автомобиль «скорой помощи».
Машина, которая была презентована Немецким Союзом защиты животных, оборудована специально для перевозки животных. Благодаря ней станет возможно своевременно оказывать первую помощь дворняжкам, попавшим в беду.
«Работать в автомобиле будет хорошо обученный экипаж — врач и водитель, которые умеют обращаться с бездомными животными, не причиняя им вреда. Машина будет ездить туда, куда попросят разные институции — предприятия, школы, больницы, на территории которых живет большое количество животных, подлежащих стерилизации или требующих помощи», — сообщил почетный президент Немецкого союза защиты животных Вольфганг Апель.
Он отметил, что автомобиль оснащен кондиционером для комфорта животных.
